Newport Is LIT
This past weekend I had a trip that I had planned as a part of my boyfriend's Christmas present. Newport, RI is one of my favorite places to go in New England, and he had not spent much time there, so we booked a quick weekend getaway to do some exploring!
Naturally, I needed a new outfit for the special occasion! In looking for a new look, I decided to check out a local Boston boutique that I had heard great things about, but had yet to pay a visit to. I headed to LIT Boutique, which if you're local to Boston, has a location on Newbury Street and in the North End that you will definitely want to check out. The boutique was full of so many cute and on trend clothes, but I was immediately drawn to the two-piece culotte number that I am wearing in these pictures!
Unfortunately, as luck would have it, the weather did not want to cooperate with my fashion agenda for this past weekend. When I picked out the strapless, culotte silhouette we were in the midst of our February heat wave, so spring and summer were on my mind. It ended up being way way too cold to rock this look, but I had already packed it all up and brought it along with me, so I decided to do a quick shoot of it for all of you. If you couldn't tell, I am really excited about this outfit! (I also have to give a major shoutout to my amazing bf, who put up with my freezing, crazy self to help me get these shots!)
