Frances Austen
I am beyond excited to share this week’s look with all of you! This will be the first look that I am sharing from my trip to Paris, and is arguably one of my favorites!
For this look, the focus was all on this amazing Frances Austen silk pajama jacket. I had the pleasure of meeting Margaret, the founder of the brand, when she was visiting Boston over the summer. I knew very quickly upon meeting her, and seeing her collection, that I was going to be a big fan! She founded Frances Austen after seeing firsthand the waste that fast fashion can create, and wanting to make products that are luxurious, lasting, and sustainable. Hearing what she had to say about the brand literally spoke to my style soul. Those of you who have followed me for some time know that when it comes to fashion and what to purchase, I am all about finding timeless pieces that are well made. Add in sustainability, and you’ve got the trifecta of things to look for when investing in a new piece for your wardrobe!
I have had this jacket for a little while now, but I was holding off sharing it with all of you because I knew it would be absolutely perfect for my trip to Paris. There is something that is so chic about a silk jacket for an evening look. To keep things simple, I opted to pair it with a matching navy pant, a simple grey pump, and a classic red lip. Not only was this one of my favorite looks in Paris, but it might be one of my favorite looks ever!
