No. 103
I am so excited to share this week’s look with all of you! There are so many different elements to this look that I love individually, so of course I love it even more since I was able to mix them all together!
Up first is the Skarlett Blue bodysuit I am wearing. I have shared this brand before on Instagram, and I am so happy that I got the chance to work with them again. They are a primarily lingerie and underwear brand, but they also have a great selection loungewear. The loungewear are THE softest, and most comfortable pieces ever! I highly recommend adding some pieces to your wardrobe. Even better is the fact that this bodysuit is on sale!!
Another favorite from this look is the skirt, which is arguably the statement piece of the look! I got this skirt on super sale ($34!!) at Anthropologie, and unfortunately it is no longer available :(. I searched around to find some similar options, and though the color doesn’t match, the black polka dot Anine Bing skirt I linked below is an incredibly close second!
To fully tie together the look I had the help of one of my favorites, Puck and Abby! The bag and the earrings I am wearing are all new pieces to the site. The earrings are the perfect, simple hoop, and the bag is going to be one of my go-tos for spring/summer! I’ve already worn it out a few times already!
So now that I’ve given you the full breakdown of my look, I figured I’d throw in some fashion advice while I’m here. You’ve probably noticed that I tend to steer clear of too much color, or loud prints, when it comes to my wardrobe. If you’re also like this, then seeing a bright red skirt (or any colored piece for that matter) might seem pretty daunting. It definitely was for me when I first saw it! If you too find yourself feeling this way about a particular piece, don’t fret! The best thing to do if you are trying to incorporate more color, or prints, into your wardrobe is to keep the rest of your look simple and true to what you feel comfortable in. Case in point: I’m wearing a red skirt, but the rest of the look consists of black (my safe color)!
